Ink and oak

A face from Ink and oak

Ink and oak. Panelled rooms, reading lamps, tobacco and old paper — the warm brown-and-green world of libraries and chambers. Everyone is unfailingly polite, nobody says anything directly, and the institutional memory is long. Deep greens, oxblood and brass on wood, lit by whatever lamp somebody left on.

The twelve

Every colour on this page is one of those twelve — and so is every pixel of the art in a case set here. The palette is the style lock the plates are quantized to, so the chrome and the art can never belong to different games.
